New Design for 2010
The new year symbolizes new beginnings—a time to reflect on past experiences and then look forward to new opportunities. With that idea in mind, I thought this would be the perfect time to overhaul my website. So without further eloquence, I'm pleased to announce the latest version of the DanielHumann.com website.
Feel free to have a look around.
Thanks for visiting!

The VantagePoint product suite is a collection of software applications that provide one common platform for enterprise Geographic Information Systems.
VantagePoint is extremely powerful and easy-to-use. These products allows GIS analysts to: visualize data, perform complex spatial operations, author and publish maps, manage data, and import/export between file formats. VantagePoint also allows access to popular databases and OGC mapping services.
Candid Portraiture
Portraiture—the art of representing the physical or psychological likeness of an individual.
From earliest times the portrait has been considered a means to immortality. Many cultures have attributed magical properties to the portrait: symbolization of the majesty or authority, substitution for a deceased individual's living presence or, in some primitive cultures, theft of the soul!
The principal portrait media are: drawing, painting, sculpture, and, as shown in this example, photography.
Boulderama
The City of Boulder is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, northwest of Denver, Colorado. Directly to the west of Boulder are the picturesque Flatirons—steep, angular rock faces that protrude upwards into the sky.
This panorama of Boulder was inspired from a baseline photographic study of the Flatirons that I conducted in December 2006.
